My mom use to cook this type of Kaddu ki Sabzi at my home and I developed great love for the dish as I have a bit Spicy taste,

All Ingredients We Need to Make Spicy Pumpkin (Kaddu)

Ingredients required to Make Spicy Pumpkin - Achari Kaddu - Dil Bhukkad

  1. Pumpkin- 1 Bowl (approx 250 grams) (evenly chopped without peeling the cover)
  2. Green Chilly – 2 Chillies (chopped)
  3. Jeera (Cumin Seeds)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  4. Rai (Mustard Seeds)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  5. Methi Seeds (Fenugreek seeds)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  6. Kalonji (Nigella)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  7. Sauf (Aniseed)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  8. Haldi (Turmeric)- 1/4 Teaspoon;
  9. Red Chilli Powder-1 Teaspoon;
  10. Amchoor Powder (Dry Mango powder)- 1 Teaspoon;
  11. Salt – 1 Teaspoon or as per taste.

Preparation time- 10 minutes

Cooking time- 10 minutes

Complete Step by Step Recipe to Make Spicy Pumpkin

  1. Hear Some Oil in a pan, approximately 3-4 tea spoons;
  2. Add Jeera, Methi and Rai seeds;
  3. After that, add Saunf and Kalonji to it and fry;
  4. Add Haldi Powder;
  5. Afterwards, add the Pumpkin and mix well;
  6. Also add Green Chillies, Red Chilli Powder and Salt and mix well;
  7. Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes;
  8. In the end, add the amchur powder and cook it for half a minute.
