When I was pursuing my LLB, after each exam, I along with all my friends use to go to a Punjabi Lassi Stall and spend an  hours or so over a glass of Lassi discussing some of the major world issues such as

“How many Questions one attempted during exam” 😛 or

“What is the probability of getting Distinction Marks or sometimes Passing Marks” 😆

Curd is a rich source of Vitamin C, Carbohydrates and Proteins.It also contains Fats and fatty acids in it.

Apart from Dahi Lassi, there are various other recipes which can be prepared using curd such as Rajasthani Kadhi (Curry) , Variety of Raita, Raabadi etc.

All Ingredients We Need to Make Dry Fruit Punjabi Style Lassi

Ingredients of Delicious DryFruit Lassi - Dil Bhukkad

  1. Curd- 2 Glass of thick Curd
  2. Sugar- 4 tea spoon;
  3. Almonds- 4-5 Almonds (Crushed)
  4. Cardamom Powder- 0.25 (1/4) tea spoon.
  5.  We have taken grind ed curd- For grinding the curd use 1 bowl of curd and some water to it and mix/ grind them. Add only little-required water (approx. 1/4th glass or so) while grinding the curd so that it remains thick. Also, the quantity is enough for preparing 2 glass of lassi serving 2 people, you can vary the amount of curd as per your needs. Also, you can vary the choice of dry fruits you add to the lassi as per your own interest. Afterall, it’s your mood and absolutely your food.

Preparation time- 5-6 minutes

 

Complete Step by Step Process to Make Dry Fruit Punjabi Style Lassi

  1. Grind the Curd into a thick solution- Do not add excess water to the curd, Keep it thick;
  2. Add Sugar to the cud and grind it;
  3. Add Dry Fruits and Cardamom Powder to the grinded Curd;
  4. Mix all the ingredients well.
  5. Our Punjabi style lassi is ready to be served. Enjoy it with your regular lunch. I am sure, you will love it.
