You know… Shaadi day is seen only in two ways. One which is already described above… The Groom’s View.
And the other one or I should say the important one is…
We have got soup and a variety of fries in the starters. The main course have 4 classy vegetables and a choice of plain chapati or naan or a stuffed paratha. Desserts also have the wide variety. Ice-cream is also there.

Corn Palak is really an amazing dish, loved by foodies mainly because of its rich flavor and easy to digest properties.
Not only this, apart from being delicious, there are various health benefits of this dish as well because both the main ingredients of our dish Corn and Palak are rich energy sources and recommended food intakes.
Do you remember the famous 90’s cartoon caractor- the sailor man who could fight hundred enemies and save his beloved Olive, ohh yes… I am talking about POPEYE and his energy source SPINACH.
Raw spinach or palak is.. 91% water, 4% carbohydrates, 3% protein, and contains negligible fat. palak has a high nutritional value, especially when fresh, frozen, steamed, or quickly boiled. It is a rich source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, manganese and iron. Its consumption improves bone health and reduces blood pressure. It also lower down the risk of cancer and asthma. It provides great nourishment to our skin and hair as well.
Health Benefits Of Spinach(Palak)
- According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), a 100-gram serving of spinach has 28.1 micrograms of vitamin C, 34 percent of the daily recommendation.
- Spinach leaves benefits in weight reduction as it is low in calories and fat. It prevents constipation and also maintains low blood sugar.
- Spinach is rich in vitamin K which is vital for maintaining bone health.
- Spinach contains a high-quality Nitrite which not only helps in preventing the occurrence of heart attack but also cures the heart diseases associated with fat deposition.
- Regular consumption of spinach can prevent anemia as it is an excellent source of iron.
Corns are mostly used as a side dish. It is loved in the recipes like sweet corns or in soups or starters. It also adds flavor to the variety of vegetables and salads.
All Ingredients We Need to Make Corn Palak
- Palak paste (boiled and grind ed palak leaves)- 0.75 (3/4) bowl
- American Corn (boiled)- 0.5 (1/2) bowl
- Ginger-garlic paste- 2 tea spoons
- Onion- Green Chilli paste (thick)- 3 large spoons
- Tomato puree- 3 or 4 tomatoes
- Cream- 3-4 tea spoon
- Tomato catch-up- 1 tea spoon
- Jeera and Rai- 1 tea spoon
- Red Chilli Powder- 3 or 3.5 tea spoon
- Salt- to taste
- Haldi Powder- 0.5 tea spoon
- Hing Powder- a pinch
- Dhaniya Powder- 2 tea spoon
Preparation time- 15 minutes
Cooking time- 20 minutes
Complete Step by Step Process to Make Corn Palak
- Heat some oil in the Pan;
- Add Jeera and Rai seeds and Heeng to it, turn the flame to low;
- Add Jinger-Garlic Paste and quickly add onion- green chilli paste to it, fry them well;
- Now Mix tomato Puree to the paste, fry it for 1 minute;
- Add Haldi Powder and salt to the paste, keep stirring it in between;
- Pour tomato catch-up and mix it well;
- Now Add red chilli and dhaniya powder;
- Fry the Puree for 1 minute;
- Add Palak Paste to the prepared puree and mix well;
- Cover the pan and cook the mixture for 4-5 minutes on low flame;
- You can now see the oil on the top of the mixture;
- Add corn to the palak paste and mix them well;
- Cover the pan and let it cook for 7 to 8 minutes, also keep checking it and stirring it at an interval of 3-4 minutes;
- Add Cream to the dish and cook for 1 minute;
- Turn off the flame and garnish it with Cream and green coriander leaves;
Serve it HOT!!!
